Tieto-Oskari Oy is starting co-operation with RollTest Oy from Varkaus concerning marketing of RUBEN rubber hardness measuring devices.

RUBEN is a product designed and manufactured by Tieto-Oskari Oy and it is especially meant for the accurate hardness measuring of rubber rolls in paper mills.

RollTest Oy is the leading Nordic manufacturer of roll measuring instruments and roll grinder control systems as well as different kinds of mechanical roll grinder accessories. RollTest Oy has a long experience in this narrow market sector and their own products represent Finnish high tech.

Tieto-Oskari Oy has manufactured RUBEN products since 2005 and the device has proven to be user-friendly, reliable and accurate. Most of the devices have been delivered abroad, although an active marketing channel has been lacking. This product includes technology patented by Tieto-Oskari Oy.

Through co-operation with RollTest Oy Tieto-Oskari Oy is looking for larger volume in the product sale. The clientele for the products of the both companies is partly consistent and with this synergy both companies’ business will be promoted. RollTest Oy has steady international customer relationships and a network of distributors and agents.

The first significant AKKE system has been delivered to Kazakhstan, to Astana Velodrom. The installation has already started.

Tieto-Oskari Oy is getting more production facilities in Kajaani to be able to produce all the future deliveries as agreed.

Tieto-Oskari Oy is strengthening its home marketing. The 1^st of October 2010 Sales Manager Tapio Paasimaa is starting his job to take care of marketing Tieto-Oskari Oy’s products such as AKKE, ELLI and HELI in Finland. Paasimaa has made a long career in the printing house of Kainuun Sanomien Kirjapaino Oy.

In August 2010 Tieto-Oskari Oy recruited Software Designer DI Petri Pekkarinen. Earlier he’s been working for example in Metso Automation Oyj in Kajaani.

The deliveries of AKKE products to Kazakhstan will start in September 2010. Tieto-Oskari Oy has made contracts on delivering hundreds of sensors to Kazakhstan.

With the products the customers can assure constructive security in their facilities: they can carry out the repairs needed in good time and thus reduce the risk to collapses. It’s more affordable to make to restoration in time and thereby the system is bringing economical benefit to the owners as well as increasing security. 

By means of AKKE system it’s possible to accurately measure postural changes in constructions, vibration, moisture and temperatures. The system is constantly being developed and needs of different kinds of measuring points are taken into consideration. Tieto-Oskari Oy has got a patent to AKKE system even earlier.

Tieto-Oskari Oy and its products such as AKKE construction monitoring system, ELLI time attendance and HELI access control system participate in exhibitions this autumn.

Tieto-Oskari Oy bought Incode Brigston and Incode trademarks and all the know-how/rights to Incode Brigston environment controlling system from Incode Oy’s bankrupt’s estate in June 2010. 

Incode Brigston environment controlling system is based on the Bluetooth technology where with a cellphone it is possible to control environment, for example turn on and off lights, use TV, open and close doors and windows etc. The biggest group of users is the disabled. 

The technics developed for Incode Brigston system is also deployable in other products of Tieto-Oskari Oy.

AKKE Finlandia Oy has been founded for Tieto-Oskari Oy’s business activities in Middle Asia. The company has been registered the 7^th May 2010.

Tieto-Oskari Oy will still continue AKKE products’ R&D, production, installations and marketing to other countries. 

AKKE Finlandia Oy is also offering consultation services to other Finnish companies who are interested in starting business in “stan” states in Middle Asia.
